USBC-style rules
The rules used by Thursday Night Trios. Every one can be changed.
StrikeMaster is a bowling league management app for iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. An organiser creates a league with USBC-style rules and invites bowlers with a join code. The organiser enters the scores and they are added to each member's StrikeMaster account automatically, or members enter their own scores and the organiser approves them. StrikeMaster works out handicaps, points and weekly standings, then runs playoffs and tracks dues and the prize fund.
How to run a league
- Create the league. Pick the format (Singles, Doubles, Trios or Teams), the rules and the season dates.
- Invite your bowlers. Share the join code. Bowlers without the app can be added by name.
- Enter the scores. The organiser enters the scores and they are added to each member's StrikeMaster account automatically. Or members enter their own scores and the organiser approves them.
- Finalise the week. StrikeMaster applies handicaps and absent-bowler scores, awards points and updates the standings.
- Finish the season. Run playoffs and roll-offs, settle dues and the prize fund, and start the next season from the same league.
Private leagues and public leagues
A private league is for one bowler. If your league is already run by a league secretary, set up a private league that mirrors its rules and track your own season: your average, handicap and results each week. On league night, with Pro, you can enter your whole team on one phone.
A public league is for everyone in it. One organiser runs the league and every member sees the same schedule, standings and stats.
League manager on the web
Organisers can manage the roster, invites, scores and settings from a browser at strikemaster.io, print a standings sheet, and put a noticeboard view of the standings on a screen at the bowling center.
Pricing
- Members: free. Bowlers join, get their scores and see standings without paying.
- Organisers: every account can organise one public league free for two weeks. After that the league is read-only until the organiser has StrikeMaster Pro.
