StrikeMaster vs CDE BLS and LeagueSecretary
CDE Software's BLS (Bowling League Secretary) is Windows desktop software where a league secretary types in the scores, and LeagueSecretary.com is where bowlers view the results. StrikeMaster is a phone and web app where the organiser sets up the league and enters the scores, which are added to each member's account automatically, or members enter their own for the organiser to approve. It also does personal score tracking and stats.
When CDE BLS is the better fit
- Your league needs printed recap sheets on official forms.
- You need award eligibility checks and membership or sanction forms for USBC, CTF or TNBA.
- Your bowling center's back office imports scores from its scoring system (the BLS AutoScoring edition).
When StrikeMaster is the better fit
- You want to run the league from a phone, without a Windows PC.
- You want league scores to land in each bowler's own account, or members to enter their own scores for you to approve.
- Bowlers want their own frame-by-frame scores, pin leaves and ball stats in the same app as the league.
